Overview
The program Logonchk.exe is the logon
authorization program. There are two recommended
ways to invoke this program, automatically on
NT, 2000 and XP based machines as setup by
SBSetup.exe and manually, usually as part of a
logon script. Even though you would typically
launch and run Logonchk.exe only at logon via
the NT logon script or other startup script, you
can run it at any time. For example, you could
run it in a batch file whenever you need to
check logons before allowing the user to
proceed. Specify the NT logon script in the
users’ profile if you want only certain users to
be authorized. Logonchk.exe will run on all
32-bit Windows. |
